As a part time DBA student I am researching the role of external actors (consultants, contractors, non-permanent staff) in the development and implementation of organisational strategy. There is a symbiotic relationship between my research and my fulltime work as a strategy development and implementation professional.
I have worked for over twenty years in a variety of operational and strategic change roles in financial services defining and delivering strategic operational change. I have a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath and an MBA with distinction from the University of Southampton.
I am currently studying part time for a DBA, my research is exploring the role of external actors such as consultants, contractors and other non-permanent staff in the development and implementation of organisational strategy. My research is supported by and provides valuable insights to my professional work on strategic development and delivery.
