Foteini Papadopoulou is a postgraduate research within the Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton.

My primary research interests centre on diversity and inclusivity in entrepreneurship. I investigate how diversity backgrounds - including gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation and religion - make the entrepreneurial occupation a less realistic option. Specifically, I look at how individuals are excluded because they do not match the archetypes of what makes a "real" entrepreneur. I use experiments to study the cause-effect relationship between diversity and access to entrepreneurial opportunities.

I have worked in SMEs in Greece for 8 years. I have taken several roles starting from Administrative Assistant and Chief of Administration, and moving to Quality Assurance Manager, Marketing Manager and Marketing and e-Commerce Officer.
