Rom is a doctoral researcher of Entrepreneurship at the University of Southampton. His research interests are in Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, and Science Park.

His project aims to make a contribution to the entrepreneurial ecosystem literature which has recently gained interest among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. The concept seeks to explain the phenomenon that entrepreneurs, organizations, institutional factors, and other elements within the ecosystem interrelate in such a way that promotes the emergence of growth-oriented entrepreneurship. His work investigates the role of a science park in the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the context of developing country in Thailand.

He holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Practice from Lancaster University and an MSc in Technopreneurship and Innovation Management from Chulalongkorn University. He also holds a BA in Economics from Thammasat University.
