The Student Enterprise Team is excited to invite you to join us for the Student Founder Showcase on Wednesday 25 October, 15:15-17:00.
Be inspired by the student founders who took part in the 2023 Foundership Scheme and learn about the wide-ranging support for those wanting to start their own business whilst studying here at the University of Southampton.
In July, a select cohort of students were awarded £3,000 in funding, office space, and dedicated support to allow them to commit a full twelve weeks over the summer towards exploring and accelerating their business ideas.
The Student Founder Showcase will see participating students presenting the remarkable progress they've achieved over the summer. They will also share their experiences to inspire and help you to follow in their footsteps.
You will also learn about our incredible enterprise eco-system, the support it offers and how you can get involved. So, if you want to start your own business then join us on Highfield Campus in the Turner Sims to hear from:

Additionally, the winners of our 100 BIG Ideas competition and the 100 cash prizes that come with it will be announced during the show, with the top 10 and £500 grand prize winner being revealed live on stage! Have you applied yet?
Venturefest South Festival of Innovation 2023
If you attend the Student Founder Showcase you will also get a free ticket to the annual Festival of Innovation at the Ageas Bowl. The festival stages the South’s pioneering companies, and research capabilities through bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, and funders. Great for early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs with the ambition to grow. There will be limited spaces for this event so make sure to register for your free ticket and secure your spot in the audience.
