Freelancers work in a range of professions - from writers, musicians and photographers to designers and artists. For many people freelancing is a full-time business, but for others, it can be an opportunity to make extra money and complement their day job. So, if you’re interested in being your own boss and think you have what it takes, our Go Freelance series could be for you!
Run by freelancers with real-life valuable lessons to share with you, this series will:
- Introduce you to the realities of freelance life
- Give you tips on how to succeed
- Help you identify practical steps for getting started
- Give you inside knowledge into freelance industries
- Plus, the chance to interact with each of our freelance speakers at an exclusive networking event, 18:00-19:00, complete with pizza and refreshments!
We will be running three sessions focusing on Arts, Music, and Humanities subjects across February and March. However, this series is open to all students and recent graduates who are interested in freelancing in creative industries.
