Mr Tom Simmonds

Head of Student Enterprise and Events

Tom's role as Head of Student Enterprise and Events is to lead and manage the student enterprise team in developing and implementing a comprehensive programme of activities to support our students and graduates in the development of their enterprise and entrepreneurship skills.

Tom moved from Future Worlds, the University of Southampton's on-campus startup accelerator, where he worked as the Events and Marketing Manager. Prior to joining the University Tom ran his own events company and worked as a Freelance Event Manager helping to deliver a vast range of events nationally and internationally, such as the 2012 London Olympics and a host of Reebok Classic events across America.

With experience in both the commercial and higher education sectors Tom brings a wide range of expertise to help make your business ideas a reality.
