Event details
Do you want to find out more about entering the workplace with a disability, specific learning difficulty or long-term health condition? Are you interested in hearing from those who have done it before you? Want to know what support you could receive from employers? Each year we hold an event, inviting speakers from a range of organisations to speak about their experiences of either working with a disability or of supporting others in the workplace.
This year we are welcoming 4 speakers from a range of organisations including the Civil Service, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, KPMG and the NHS. Each speaker will give a presentation, sharing their own personal experiences of either working with a disability or of supporting others in the workplace. This will be followed by a Panel Q&A where you can discuss any questions with our speakers and careers team.
Agenda
14:00 - 14:05 - Welcome and Introductions
14:05 - 15:05 - 4 x Speaker Presentations

See below for further details of our speakers and images from some of our previous events.
Inspiring stories…I heard several times that it is useful to be upfront and honest about having a disability/long term health condition and explain what you need [which] is helpful advice.
