Democratic Futures and the Web is a workshop coordinated by Dr. Matthew Ryan, Dr Silke Roth and Dr. Valentina Cardo for the ACM Web Science Conference which is taking place on 22nd June 2021.
The six papers that will be presented are:

- Messaging Migration on Social Media
- Speaking the Language of Democracy in the Digital Age
- Inclusion in online participation in practice
- Not too good, not too bad: the mixed picture of transparency and responsiveness of E-participation instruments implemented by English local councils
- Responding to democratic dilemmas
