Patricia Goggin - Best Poster Award

The 21st International Bone Densitometry Workshop (IBDW) and the 7th European Symposium on Ultrasonic Characterization of Bone (ESUCB), were held in Kloster Banz, Bavaria, June 2017.

Many diverse techniques for bone material characterisation, bone and muscle imaging at multiple length scales and clinical applications were featured. I attended and showed our work on bone using serial block-face scanning electron microscopy and was delighted to win the ‘Best Poster Award’.
