Research interests

*Key focus development of a rechargeable Lithium-oxygen battery as they promise to offer 5 times the energy of a conventional Lithium-ion battery of the same mass.

*This is carried out using a series of in situ and ex situ techniques to gain further understanding of the fundamental chemistry under pinning the system.

*Time has also been spent working on Li-ion batteries, Na-O2 batteries and supercapacitors.
