Mr Simon Reeves's photo

Simon is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Electrochemistry group with Prof Phil Bartlett.

2009-2014: MChem (hons) from the University of Edinburgh.
2014-2018: PhD at the University of Edinburgh “Development of Electrochemical Sensing in Nuclear Pyroprocessing: A Study of the Cerium-Aluminium Binary System with Macro- and Microelectrodes”.
2018-present: Senior Research Assistant on the ADEPT (Advanced Devices by Electroplating) project at the University of Southampton.

 

Simon was a Demonstrator at the University of Edinburgh for 3rd Year Physical Chemistry Laboratories.

Research interests

Simon's research interests are:

  • Electrochemical sensing in molten salts
  • Electrodeposition of binary alloys in non-aqueous solvents
