I graduated with a Master in Chemistry degree having enjoyed my four years at Southampton, in particular, the placement in the final year that involved travelling to Michigan State University to take up a research position in the US.
My current job involves a lot of customer support all over the world. I’m really pleased with the career path I choose and know that I made the right decision.
I returned to the UK intent on entering the job market and secured a role at Mesophotonics, a company built on the research success of Physics and Chemistry at the University of Southampton. The opportunity allowed me to keep an interest in science whilst working with lots of different people. Since starting I haven't looked back and have recently moved to another organisation, Perkin Elmer, to build on my expertise as a spectrometry specialist.
My current job involves a lot of customer support all over the world. I'm really pleased with the career path I choose and know that I made the right decision.
