PhD Studentships: "Electrochemistry in Supercritical Fluids"
Prof. Phil Bartlett, Chemistry, University of Southampton, UK
We are seeking an academically excellent, bright, motivated individual to join the Bartlett group as a PhD student. The project involves the investigation of electrochemistry in supercritical fluids and is part of a large EPSRC funded project on electrodeposition from supercritical fluids for the fabrication of nanostructures and nanodevices.
The position (available to UK/EU nationals only) is part of a collaboration between the Universities of Southampton, Nottingham and Warwick. As part of the team working on this multidisciplinary project in nanoscience you will have an excellent training environment and an opportunity to learn a variety of new skills.
Ideally, the candidate will have some prior experience of electrochemistry, however this is not essential and training will be provided as needed.
