Event details

Paul Pringle presents a seminar as part of the Functional Inorganic, Materials and Supramolecular Chemistry Groups seminar series.

Organophosphorus ligands, those containing P-C, P-O and P-N bonds, have been at the centre of homogeneous catalysis for over 50 years. We are interested in expanding the portfolio of ligands for catalysis to those containing P-F or P-B bonds and in this talk the synthesis, stability and properties of these exotic ligands will be presented.

Speaker information

Professor Paul Pringle , University of Bristol. Paul Pringle did his first degree at Leicester and then a PhD with Professor Bernard Shaw at Leeds. He was a lecturer at the University of Warwick for 5 years before moving to Bristol in 1988
