Speaker information
Dr Dave Adams , University of Liverpool. Dave Adams is a graduate of the University of Leeds (1995), carrying out his PhD with Professor James Clark (University of York). He has worked in a wide range of scientific areas including the synthesis of selectively fluorinated aromatic molecules, the use of supercritical carbon dioxide as a solvent for carrying out stereoselective reactions, chemistry in perfluorinated liquids, block copolymer and peptide synthesis and self-assembly and generation of anisotropic particles. He has worked in both academic (York, Leeds, Leicester) and industrial (Unilever) environments. He joined the University of Liverpool in 2008 with current research interests including the synthesis and self-assembly of polymers and peptides.
