Msc Opportunities in Chemistry

Chemistry in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at Southampton is an internationally leading centre of research with strong links to industry and numerous collaborations with universities across the globe. Research in chemistry at Southampton has many strengths including Synthesis, Chemical Biology, X-ray Crystallography, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Supramolecular Chemistry, Electrochemistry and Surface Science.

There are opportunities for UK, EU and Overseas students to study MSc in Chemistry by Research Degree, with approximately 20 students starting each year. Highlighted research areas including analytical and environmental chemistry, chemical biology, crystallography, electrochemistry, e-science, medicinal chemistry, organic and inorganic synthesis, organometallic and coordination chemistry, solid-state chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, surface and interfacial science, theoretical chemistry and molecular modelling.
