This year, the RSC Fluorine and Carbohydrate Subject Groups have decided to hold a joint symposium, to take place in Southampton from Monday 2 Sept 11:00 am to Tues 3 Sept 1:00 pm.

The format of the meeting follows that of the annual Fluorine Subject Group Meetings, in that the majority of the presentations are given by postgraduate students and postdocs. We invite applications for both short oral (20 min) and poster presentations. While this year we particularly invite contributions dealing with all aspects of fluorinated carbohydrates, ‘regular’ fluorine and carbohydrate contributions coming from all areas (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical) will also be welcomed. The deadline for applications for oral presentations is 19 Aug 2013 (23 Aug for posters). Please go to the abstract page for templates.
