Six month placement at the University of Otago
I always had my heart set on going to New Zealand for my placement right from my first year here and I was lucky enough to get to go to the
University of Otago
to work in a PhD lab. It was absolutely fantastic and I found I grew as a person, as well as a chemist, by being so far away from England.
My six months away was the making of my degree and my time at University. It’s the best thing I did at Southampton as it’s a great opportunity to go somewhere completely different.
