Professor Laura Siminoff, Diamond Jubilee International Visiting Fellow 2015

Professor Laura Siminoff will be visiting the Faculty of Health Sciences annually over the next three years. Her first visit will be between May 9th – 11th 2016 and then again in November 2016.

Dr Laura Siminoff became the Dean of the College of Public Health at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, USA in 2015. Prior to this role she was Professor and founding Chair of the Department of Social and Behavioral Health at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.

 

As a public health social scientist, her research focuses on health communication and decision-making most prominently in cancer and organ and tissue donation.
