Published guidance
Professor Alison Richardson has been part of a three author team (along with contributions from Greta Westwood (Portsmouth), Kay Mitchell and Rosemary Chable (at UHS) and Sarah Williams (Solent)) who developed guidance on ‘Transforming healthcare through clinical academic roles in nursing, midwifery and allied health professions’. This guide is aimed at NHS organisational leads with the responsibility to develop and embed clinical academic roles for nursing, midwifery and allied health professions.
The Guidance launched on Monday 14 November at an event in Central London. More information on the Guidance can be found on ‘ The Association of UK University Hospitals ’ website. The launch was supported by Department of Health, NHS England, Health Education England and NHS Improvement.
