Speaker information

Dr Tula Brannelly,Tula is Senior Research Fellow at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Tula has a longstanding interest in the ethics of care, the politics of care, and the experiences of care. Tula has been researching the ethics of care since 2000, with marginalised groups such as people with dementia, people with mental health problems and young people with alcohol and other drug use, mostly using participatory methodologies with people with experience. Currently, Tula is working full time on an Alzheimer’s Society funded research project Using Technologies for Safer Walking: A Participative Inquiry (PI Ruth Bartlett). Tula is editor of and contributor to Barnes, M, Brannelly T, Ward N and Ward L (2015)Ethics of care: Critical Advances in International Perspective: Policy Press.
