Song Pan Utz is well-experienced in business development in local and international markets. Her particular strength lies in nurturing business relationships with executive-level customers by understanding their needs as well as their cultural backgrounds. She has applied this approach successfully to business development, marketing, contract negotiation, and implementation. Ms. Utz was responsible for the Chinese market penetration strategy of Atlantix Global Systems, a leading international provider of IT solutions with several hundred million USD in annual revenue. In this capacity, she built a network of business partners spanning 12 countries, resulting in more than $15m in annual revenue. Ms Utz has received numerous accolades, including the company’s president award.

In 2008, Song Utz decided to complement her practical experience with a postgraduate degree in business administration. After graduating from Georgetown University in 2010 and obtaining the necessary brokerage licenses, she joined the financial advisory team at Morgan Stanley, where she has acquired and managed private and business investment portfolios, providing tailored solutions to her clients’ needs.

After moving to the United Kingdom in 2012, she joined the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of University of Southampton as the International Partnerships Manager. She aspires to contribute to higher education and to empower students and academics to meaningfully connect between the West and the East.
