Southampton Confucius Institute opening
A new centre to promote Chinese culture and language was launched at the University on the 31st October 2011.
Our institute was set up by the University of Southampton in association with Xiamen University, with the approval of and support from the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban).
We are committed to making the Chinese language and culture teaching resources and services available to the local people, to meet their needs of learning Chinese or understanding China.
