Celebrating Chinese New Year The Confucius Institute in collaboration with Chinese Association of Southampton will be celebrating Chinese New Year with five celebrations at three places to welcome the Year of the Rooster.

Sun 29 Jan 11am - 4.30pm at Westquay Shopping centre
Sat 4 Feb 11am - 4pm at The Spark, Southampton Solent University, East Park Terrace SO14 0LY
Sat 11 Feb 11am - 4pm at Guildhall Square
The five celebrations include;
• Lion and dragon dance
• Kung Fu display
• Traditional Chinese dance
• Music and song
• Chinese Opera
• Chinese cultural workshops and food
There is also a cultural exhibition between 16 January to 10 Februaty at the Southampton Solent University, Andrews Concourse.
