Following the Heart and Showing in the Arts – Expertise performance by the Confucius Institute of Southampton at the Multi-Cultural International Festival held by Applemore College

The "Multicultural International Culture Festival" is the largest and most popular cultural event in the year held by Applemore College at Southampton. It is an important part of the school's intellectual and multicultural awareness. This year's event was on 12th May 2017, which attracted nearly 500 teachers, students and parents to participate.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton was invited to participate the festival and they conducted six workshops with the themes of ‘Chinese Language Taster’,   ‘Ink Blowing Painting’, ‘Handkerchief Dancing’ ，’Paper Cutting’, ‘Dumpling Making’ and ‘Chinese Kong-Fu’.

The head teacher of Applemore College was very impressed and invited the Confucius Institute to join them for more cultural activities in the future.
