Chinese Language at Your Fingertips – Short intensive Chinese courses running by the Confucius Institute at Southampton University

On 5th-9th June and 12th-16th June 2017, the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton ran two short intensive Chinese courses for the university students and staff to boost their Chinese in 6 hours (each day for 1.5 hours). Zhou Fang, Chinese director of the Confucius Institute and Li Lei, teacher from Hanban taught the courses. Over 50 students attended the courses and among them was the University Vice-President, Professor Alex Neill. He wrote after his successful completion of the course to thank the organizer and hope to have more such courses run in the future for more people to learn about the Chinese language and culture.
