Chinese Language Courses Running at the Headquarters of Clarks for the First Time

Since January 2017, sponsored by the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton, the Chinese language courses have been offered to the staff by the Headquarters of Clarks at Street, Somerset UK. It is the first time for such a language program running at the Clarks, which attracted more than 60 staff members to attend the courses.

Clarks has long been established a good reputation with its high quality products and good services in the Chinese market. The learning of Chinese language and the understanding of Chinese culture will help the company to promote more comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with China.  The Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton is looking forward to working with more local companies or businesses to help their staff in learning Chinese language and culture and to broaden the international horizons as well as to strengthen the cooperation with China.
