Applemore College Hosted Chinese Culture Day

On 9th November 2017, Applemore College hosted Chinese Culture Day. The event was organised by Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton and was a great success. 120 Year 9 students participated in six different cultural featured workshops including Calligraphy, Papercutting, Chinese Traditional Costumes, Chinese Ink Painting, Chinese Tea Ceremony and Shuttlecock. The most popular workshop was the Chinese Traditional Costumes with its etiquette, which was new to this College.
