New Year Week in the Confucius Classroom at Bohunt School Worthing

A traditional poetic melody titled ‘Pearl Curtains’ of Chinese Bamboo Flute solo played by Confucius Classroom teacher Mr Wang at the assembly on 5th February 2019 started a whole week celebration of Chinese New Year at Bohunt School Worthing.

The theme of celebration is ‘one family’ as the staff governor Mr Phil Harding addressed it. The assembly was featured singing and percussion performances from students on Mandarin Excellence Programme, readings and a dazzling dragon display. About 900 students and staff participated in the event.
