CI Soton at the Open Day of Barton Peveril College

On 2nd May 2019, the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton (CI Soton) attended the Open Day event at Barton Peveril College.

As a new course to the language curriculum, Mandarin is scheduled as a 3-hour-weekly course in the coming new academic year. Students and parents alike were so excited about this and showed great interests. The CI workshops held on the day introduced the course layout and qualifications to be achieved. Starting from September, the Autumn Semester in 2019, students taking the new Mandarin course are expected to achieve HSK 2 after one-year learning.
