LI HONGJING Successfully Completed Two-year Work Placement at Confucius Institute, University of Southampton.

Hongjing had worked as a Chinese teacher for 3 years at the Primary School with No.7 Middle School in Chengdu, China. She is completing her Master’s Degree courses in Teaching Chinese at the Southwest University in China. She joined the Confucius Institute as a Hanban Teacher in the year of 2017.

From summer 2017 to summer 2019, the majority of her responsibility was to teach Mandarin in Steiner Academy Frome and Frome College. Her area of work covered GCSE Chinese, Mandarin for secondary school students, lunchtime clubs and cultural workshops.

 

After two years of work, Hongjing has become an experienced Chinese teacher in teaching Chinses as a foreign language. She will go back to China to continue her Chinese teaching career.
