The 3rd Joint British-Sino International Conference on the Cultural and Creative Industries Held at Winchester School of Art

On 15-16th July 2019, Winchester School of Art hosted the 3rd Joint British-Sino International Conference on the Cultural and Creative Industries – Cultural Histories, Creative Futures 2019.

Winchester School of Art and Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton, UK and National Cultural Industry Research Centre at Nanjing University, China jointly held the conference. It brought together around 20 scholars from the UK and China, who have presented and discussed the stimulating range of research, views, and insights of the theme. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor John Armitage from Winchester School of Art, and the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute gave a welcome speech.
