CI in SOTSEF Goes Digital

Southampton Science and Engineering Festival (SOTSEF) Goes Digital runs from Friday 22 May until Saturday 25 July 2020 with a variety of different activities, aiming at providing the public with downloadable resources on science projects and humanities knowledge. Confucius Institute at UoS took part in this festival by providing a workshop on Papercutting – Wellbeing in Traditional Chinese Way.

Three video clips demonstrated the ways of papercutting step by step and a document provided its background knowledge. Papercutting is a traditional Chinese art and is a good practice to reduce the stress from working at home and to one’s mental health in the lockdown life during this pandemic.
