CI Online Teacher Training in May

On 29th May 2020, the teacher training session of the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton (CI) was held online via Teams. The British Director, Chinese Director, the core teacher, teachers from Hanban and volunteer teachers of CI attended the training session. Participants introduced the measures to deal with COVID-19 epidemic at each school and shared their teaching software and resources used for online teaching.

It has been more than two months for teaching and learning gone online since the school closedown in the UK. From the initial panic to the confidence gaining, teachers are gradually familiar with the use of various advanced teaching software and platforms to provide students with a high-quality learning environment. There is always someone to learn from. The session provided a good opportunity for teachers to learn from each other and make improvement in their teaching.
