The Chinese name is not only a symbol of family blood inheritance, it expresses the wishes of parents, and carries the expectations of the elders. It is also the embodiment of Chinese ideals, aesthetic tastes, and beliefs. It is the charm of Chinese characters using the shape, sound and meaning of Chinese characters Unique way of inheriting Chinese culture. In recent years, with the increase of Chinese students at the University of Southampton, many teachers hope to accurately call the names of Chinese students and understand the meaning behind them, so as to express their interest in Chinese culture, and hope that Chinese students can get more attention and humanistic care.
