Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton Holding Work Exchange Meeting of Brother CI

In order to better carry out international Chinese education and promote university cooperation, on 18th November, 2022, the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton invited two other Confucius Institutes jointly established by Xiamen University in the UK — the Confucius Institute at Newcastle University and the Confucius Institute at Cardiff University to come to the University of Southampton and held the first offline work exchange meeting since the epidemic. The Chinese and British directors of the three Confucius Institutes attended the meeting.

The three Confucius Institutes agreed that after the epidemic is over, work exchanges and teaching seminars between the three Confucius Institutes should be held regularly, and academic cooperation and personnel exchanges should be further strengthened to facilitate information exchange, learn from each other’s strengths, and give full play to the advantages of cooperation. It is of great significance to promote the common development of the Institute and to promote the in-depth cooperation between Xiamen University and the British universities where the Confucius Institute's are located.
