CI Teachers Participated in the Seminar for “Chinese Proficiency Grading Standard for International Chinese Language Education”

On 27th and 28th January 2023, the research team led by Dr. Ying Zheng, the UK Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton, with CI Volunteer Mandarin teachers Fengru Zhang and Yao Lyu as the members, attended the seminar on the theme of "Chinese Proficiency Grading Standard for International Chinese Language Education" held in London. The seminar synchronized online and in person, was co-organized by the Association of Chinese Teachers in the UK and the Chinese Proficiency Test UK Committee. Having delivered their presentations and listened to the others, the team found that they have learned a lot and were assured by the positive feedback from the participants via the online chat box. The contribution and participation of the team reflected well on the CI academic goals.
