Southampton Confucius Institute teacher Rong Gong and student Owen were invited to give career planning lectures to local secondary schools

On January 20th, Rong Gong, CI Mandarin teacher, and Owen, the student, were invited by Oaklands Catholic School to attend the school's "Career Day". A lecture on the impact of foreign language learning on future career and life development was presented to Grade 9 students. Rong and Owen combined their study and work experiences to talk about the benefits of learning a foreign language. After the "Career Day", the school also sent an email to praise Gong and Owen's lecture and express their gratitude.
