Professor Ruoling Zheng Giving Her Presentation at the Roundtable Forum for the 102nd Anniversary of Xiamen University

The "Forum on International Chinese Language Education and Vision Development in the Era of Chinese Modernization "was held from 6th to 8th April 2023 to celebrate the 102nd Anniversary of Xiamen University and to promote the development of international Chinese language education. The forum was hosted by the Institute of Chinese Path to Modernization and Chinese International Education College/Overseas Education College at Xiamen University. Experts and scholars from home and abroad were gathered to explore new measures to respond to the new situation of international Chinese language education development, focusing on the theme of "International Chinese Language Education in Chinese Path to Modernization". The conference consisted of a keynote speech and a roundtable forum.

The roundtable forum had three topics: "Inheritance and Development of International Chinese Language Education in Chinese Path to Modernization," "Understanding and Interpretation of Chinese Path to Modernization by Foreign Scholars," and "Integration and Development of International Chinese Language Education in Chinese Path to Modernization." Experts and scholars from Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Nigeria, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao were invited to participate. Professor Zheng Ruoling, the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute, was invited to giving her presentation online entitled "Cultural Exchange and World Harmony – Starting from the Spread of Keju System to the West."
