CI School Activities for the International Children’s Day

On 25th May 2023, for celebrating the International Children's Day, teachers and volunteers from the Confucius Institute at the University of Southampton came to the Confucius Classroom at Mansbridge Primary School to run some Chinese workshops for a whole school day. Mr. Guoqi Kang, organised the event with the help from volunteers Miss Jingwen Wang and Miss Yiran Li and Miss Xuesi Yang. The theme was "Happy Childhood - Traditional Chinese Games", with workshops of using chopsticks, bamboo dancing, jumping rope, playing table tennis and shuttlecocks. Children participants were all enthusiastically involved in every activity and totally enjoyed the day with Chinese characteristics.
