Event details
Taichi (or Taijiquan) is a traditional Chinese martial art practiced for self-defence and health benefits. Taichi-24 (or 24-posture Taichi) was composed in 1956 by extracting 24 unique movements from the traditional Yang-style Taichi. Taichi-24 takes about 6 minutes to perform and it gives beginners an introduction to the essential elements of traditional Taichi. It is a popular and widely practiced Taichi sequence.
