Speaker information

Dr Ranka Primorac,a Lecturer in English at the University of Southampton. I have degrees from the universities of Zagreb, Zimbabwe and Nottingham Trent. I sit on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Commonwealth Literature, the Advisory Board of Journal of Southern African Studies and the Council of the African Studies Association of the UK. Together with Stephanie Newell, I co-edit Boydell and Brewer’s African Articulations book series. In 2013, I was Visiting Professor with the Zambian Open University. In 2016, I became a Research Associate with the Department of English, Rhodes University, South Africa.
