Seth Bullock presents CLC research to EPSRC Board Members
As part of the EPSRC Annual Conference, which was held at the University of Southampton on 21st/22nd May, Professor Seth Bullock presented the research currently underway on the Care Life Cycle project to members of the EPSRC Council. Council members, who are appointed by the Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills, and drawn from both academic and industrial communities, enjoyed a mixture of tours, presentations and demonstrations within areas of particular interest to them.
Professor Dave Delpy, the Chief Executive of EPSRC commented "Council welcomed the opportunity to visit one of its major university partners. We were superbly hosted by Southampton staff, and Council members greatly valued the chance to see at first hand the excellent research undertaken on the back of our investment. Members also noted the exciting interactions between researchers and industry in much of the work on display, evidence that excellent research can have very real impact in people's lives."
