Choose between food and fuel. Examining poverty among older people in the UK

A showcase event will be held in London on 28th May to debate the choice for older people in the UK between food and fuel. Dr Athina Vlachantoni, a member of the Care Life Cycle project team, will join Dr Aravinda Guntupalli in sharing their research into food and fuel poverty, with a view to contributing to the policy relevant debate on the choice faced by vulnerable older persons between heating their homes and eating regular nutritious meals.

Angela Mawle, Convenor, Health Housing & Fuel Poverty Forum

The event will be held on 28 May 2014 between 14.30 and 16.30 at Age UK, Tavistock Square, London.
