CLC Seminar

The SCA Group is one of the leading health and social care social enterprises in the UK. Twenty years old this autumn, the Southampton based organisation has grown from a small voluntary group into a large social enterprise employing over 620 staff and running services in NHS dentistry, adult care, community transport, training and health and wellbeing for over 100,000 people across the South.. This seminar, delivered by Matt Jarratt and Natasha Koerner, two of SCA’s directors, will describe the structure and impact of SCA with particular reference to its Care division. It will highlight particular strengths created by its social enterprise model and outline some of the key challenges associated with further development. The content will especially relevant to those with an interest in health and social care, public service reform, third sector management and governance structures and organisational transformation.
