Online International Summer School on Multilingualism - 5th to 9th July 2021

Published: 24 March 2021

We are happy to announce that CLLEAR is co-organising the first online International Summer School on Multilingualism which will take place from the 5th to the 9th of July 2021.

The week-long summer school is partly funded by the Southampton Institute for Arts and Humanities (SIAH) and it is co-organised in collaboration with the Centre for Research and Enterprise in Language (CREL) of the University of Greenwich and with the Center for Language Science (CLS) from Pennsylvania State University (USA).

Participants will be offered an immersive learning experience on multiple facets on multilingualism facilitated by internationally recognised scholars. The course is highly interactive and takes a holistic approach, covering topics such as theoretical underpinnings of language analysis, development and processing, L3 acquisition, heritage language acquisition, native language attrition and quantitative data analysis. The course will close with a Lecture delivered by Prof Lydia White which will be open to the public.
