Marine Geophysics Guidance Notes
Dr Justin Dix of COARS is co-author of the latest English Heritage Guidance Notes released today, entitled "Marine Geophysics Data Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation."
This document provides information on the most commonly used geophysical techniques in shallow water surveying and guidance on the acquisition, processing and interpretation of geophysical data for the assessment of the archaeological potential of the marine environment. The document is aimed at archaeologists, geophysicists / surveyors, and developers and planners, thus encompassing people working in industry, government, academia / research and the heritage sector.
These guidelines are part of the ALSF's dissemination of heritage information, which is managed by English Heritage.
