Deliver training in quantitative skills to staff at HM Revenue and Customs

Management School and Social Sciences academics have won a £25,000 contract to deliver training in quantitative skills to staff at HM Revenue and Customs.

The one year continuing professional development (CPD) contract, with a possible two year extension, involves the teaching of four master’s level modules.

Professor Peter Smith of Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute (S3RI) led the bid, aided by Professor Julia Bennell, Dr Meko Mee-Chi So and Dr Ian Rowley from CORMSIS. Management School staff Dr Michelle Luke, Dr Gerhard Kling, James Seligman, Professor Lyn Thomas and Dr Bart Baesens are expected to deliver the training
