Stochastic recurrent motions and stochastic stability -- Special Talk by Zhenxin Liu  Event

5 November 2018

Event details

In this talk, we will talk about recurrent motions for stochastic differential equations and stability of invariant sets or invariant measures under stochastic perturbations.

Speaker information

Zhenxin Liu ,received his B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Jilin University in China in 2002, and his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Jilin University in 2007. Subsequently, he worked as postdoctoral fellow at School of Mathematics, Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining (2014) the Dalian University of Technology, he was an assistant (2007), associate (2009), and full (2012) professor of Applied Mathematics at Jilin University. His main field is stochastic dynamics and stochastic differential equations. He mainly concerns the stability and recurrent motions of dynamical systems, and the impact on dynamical systems caused by stochastic perturbations.
