Event details

The special issue on business analytics has been a great endeavour with more than 100 papers received. The call for papers highlighted that business analytics has a clear role to generate competitive advantage in organizations and our focus has been to demonstrate this role through the papers finally selected for the special issue. In this presentation, we will provide our perspective on the current situation of the field through a computational literature review and comparison with the papers in the special issue through a short review of some of the papers accepted. We conclude that business analytics is maturing as a field with significant synergies and opportunities for the operational research community.
